So, I saw an intriguing article about a new weight loss product called Sensa. It was invented by Dr. Alan Hirsch, neurological director of the Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago. Dr. Hirsh is a specialist in treating smell and taste loss. He has developed a new product called Sensa, which are crystals he calls tastants to stimulate the sense of taste and enhance a food's flavor. Sensa pretty much works by making people feel fuller faster so they don't over eat. Sensa comes in a variety of flavors which makes it quite interesting. Some of the flavors include cheddar cheese, onion, horseradish, ranch dressing, cocoa, banana, strawberry, malt and other flavors. Basically, you just sprinkle Sensa on your food and while you are eating scents are sending messages to the brain and then to the pituitary gland which in turn is supposed to suppress your hunger. I've visited the website and the before and after photos are pretty amazing.
I'm a big fan of food and one of my weaknesses is being able to control my portion size.
This product seems like the perfect solution. I can't wait to try it!
